Week 2: Top 5 Worst Fantasy Football Team!

Philip Rivers was a great choice last week…

Last week we started a game that ended up being a total blast. It is a new fantasy football game, but the twist is you pick who you think will do the worst instead of the best. Last week, I picked some real superstars…but ones that ended up doing too well and I came in last place! This week, I look to rectify that. The original post can be found here if you choose to look.

You can pick any player currently starting for a team and playing. The catch is, you try to pick the players that will actually do bad! The game is similar to golf, person with the lowest score wins after the Sunday night game wins. Here are some extended rules:

-Each team will be comprised of one QB, RB, WR and TE. The game is meant to be simple. Pick one of each.

-Each player picked for each position must be a STARTER and must be PLAYING that week. (For instance, you may not pick Matt Cassel because he is hurt, but you may pick Brady Quinn.)

-Your RB slot has to be filled with the first string (and starting) RB from a team. You may not use full backs or H backs.

-Each NFL team in real life has two WR’s that start. You may pick either of them as long as they are playing that week. So, you may pick either Desean Jackson or Jeremy Maclin on the Eagles as your WR if you wanted.

-Use the official team Depth Chart to determine starting status. Other team owners may challenge a pick.

-Scoring is standard scoring. All touchdowns count as 6 points (including passing TD’s). 25 throwing yards equals 1 point. 10 yards rushing and receiving equals 1 point. -2 for fumbles and INT’s.

-No decimal point scoring.

-No Monday night players. The reason for this is we will be able to get some instant gratification Sunday night. I will post the winners then.

You think you got it? If not, please feel free to ask. Otherwise, POST YOUR TEAM IN THE COMMENTS SECTION BELOW BEFORE THE FIRST GAMES ON SUNDAY. ON SUNDAY NIGHT I WILL POST THE RESULTS.

Chris Johnson is a total bum.

Last week, I picked a team with my friend Brandon. This week will be no different. Here is my team that I picked:

QB – Blaine Gabbert, Jags. RB – Pierre Thomas, Saints. WR – Leonard Hankerson, Redskins. TE – Dustin Keller, Jets

Here is Brandon’s team: QB – Mark Sanchez, Jets. RB – Deangelo Williams, Panthers. WR – Kevin Walter, Texans. TE – Jeff King, Cardinals.

Here is the official list of players that you can choose from to create your team: WORST FOOTBALL TEAM LIST OF PLAYERS

Make your team using any 4 players (including ones we picked if you want to use them). Remember, no players from the Monday Night game and no players that are not at the top of the teams depth chart or injured. Leave your teams in the comments below and Sunday night we will announce a winner! Good luck stinking.

    TE – Dennis Pitta (Bal)

    • As long as Dwyer goes into the game as a starter, you should be good. Otherwise you automatically get Arian Foster if you dont name a back up. lol
